U.S. Senate Candidate
Rhett A. Trappman
Candidate for US Senate
Not a career politician. Just someone willing to step up.

Why I’m Running
I’m not a politician. I’m not backed by powerful interests. That’s exactly why I’m running.
For too long, Washington has been dominated by career politicians who are disconnected from the people they represent. Decisions are made behind closed doors, spending continues to grow, and accountability is almost nonexistent.
I’m stepping forward because I believe government should be smaller, more transparent, and accountable to the people — not the other way around.
Limit Government
Reduce federal overreach and return power to individuals and states.
Protect Freedom
Defend constitutional rights including speech, privacy, and self-defense.
Demand Accountability
End unchecked spending and hold government agencies responsible.
Background
I come from a technical and problem-solving background, working in cybersecurity and systems administration. My work has focused on identifying weaknesses, improving systems, and thinking critically about complex challenges.
I’ve had the opportunity to serve locally as a member of the Sandoval County Board of Registration, working alongside the county clerk’s office and the Bureau of Elections to ensure accurate voter rolls. During elections, I typically serve as an Assistant Presiding Judge, helping oversee polling operations and ensuring voters can cast their ballots without issue. These experiences provided a firsthand look at how election systems operate at the ground level — where processes work, and where they can be improved.
I’m not running as a career politician. I’m running as someone who understands systems, values accountability, and is willing to challenge how things are done.
